Football Tournament

Shinewater Primary School, Langney Primary School and Parkland Junior School all turned up with much excitement to the first Parkland Invitational Football Tournament on a mild autumnal afternoon. Some exceptional football was played by all three schools and several brilliant goals also flew in, including one volley from Ewan Casey which would have made Cristiano Ronaldo somewhat envious (as well as the goal celebration!).

A massive thank you to all the players who took part from across Years 5 and 6; namely Keegan Emmerson, Ewan Casey, Oliver Fraser Smith, Joshua Cooper, Quinn Park, James Morris, Ezra Yates, Joseph Herbert, Joe Cheetham and Harry Sculthorpe Henderson. I am most certain that all of those in attendance would agree that all the players have represented the school fantastically well and have laid down a real marker for how well the school will perform this season.

We now move on to our first fixture as we begin our league campaign away to Pevensey and Westham in November. Well done again to all the players: thank you all for playing so well and representing the school in such an excellent way – you are all a credit to Parkland Junior School.
